English Language Challenges | BYEBYE WORLD

     First of all, you're reading well, this is the last blog! not just for my english class but forever. Basically I have to talk about my english and my classes. The goodbye start!.

   Well, I think that the use of Blogs helped a little with vocabulary and grammar, but sometimes it turned a little boring (same with videos). I think classes could be a little more "Today we are going to see ways to improve your vocabulary and some exercises" or "Next friday we're going to see a movie with CC and you will tell me what they are saying.". Or maybe read something and talk about it, or play games about english, tongue twisters, I don't know. Something funny to do with english.

   I think I have to learn how to talk from the begining again to do it well, or practice more talking to be able to talk well in english with someone. I still have grammar and vocabulary problems so I would like to improve them. As I said in one video my principal problem is that I can't express myself correctly, I know the words but at the time of talking there are just the basic words in my mind.

   I would like to still learning english, and be able to travel without "language problems". Lately I been watching series with CC and realize there are many common words I didn't know. I read or watch videos in english too (even if I can't understand all), sometimes they're better than the videos in spanish. It's important to know the language of your work area, so I'm trying to learn it step by step.

   I'll take this space to say goodbye, thanks por the english lessons and the different activities. I'm glad to go and finish a new step in my life, see you next time ! Post graduate studies !

     Hi there, this time I have to talk about post graduate studies, well, I didn't decided yet I think I'm too young to realize what I'm going to after finishing my program. Somethins I'm sure is that I want to go out of the country, meet new people and places. That's the principal reason for leaving, I'm not saying that Chile is a bad place to learn, but I think everyboyd wants to have new experienceses and stuff. I mean, we are living, we have to take advantage of every second we have and use them right. I hope to get an scholarship after my studies here in Universidad de Chile.
     I know the "curriculum" is too important (extracurricular activities and grades). And I would like to start making a good curriculum but I don't know what could I do (and do it right). In the other hand I'm trying to get good grades, I know my family take care of me so, as a "reward" I'm trying to do my best.

    Well, talking about scholarship, it'll be awesome if I get one after my studies (I'll work harder!).

My favorite picture of myself !

     Ok, as Carolina said, time to be shallow and talk about my favorite picture of myself.

     I know it's not like a picture of myself, but I'm there and it's a special picture to me.
     It was taken a year ago in La Serena's beach, my friends and I went to there one day after school, we knew that it will be our last year together so we made the most of our time and did many things after school. That day we walked and ate a lot (we used to buy french fries almost every time) and with the sound of the waves, the warming sun, the sand inside of our shoes, we felt like living a neverending dream. When I came to Santiago I realize people usually think people that live near to the beach they never go there, and it isn't true at all, in my case I love go to the beach with my friends, even if I don't swim or don't have any swimsuit, just be there and take a rest of our lives.

    All the emotions and experienceses you had will never comeback, For example, right now you're reading this, what were you doing five minutes ago ? And 5 hours ago ? Time's moving on and if you think about 5 minutes ago it still feel like a distant memory, like a dream. Are you sure what you remember is what happened ? Are you sure that you lived those memories ?... Ok I left the topic, going back to the picture... It's a very nice picture to be honest!

Changes to my study program

    Hey! don't be sad anymore because It's me again ! This time I have to talk about chages I would do to my study program, wich is, Sound Engineering. It's kind of cool because I talked a little about this topic in the morining with my teacher of calculus. I think the perfect program doesn't exist because the perfect people don't exist neither. We are so good at blaming others (sometimes it's right, sometimes don't) "This could be better if THIS PERSON woudn't have done this thing". Most of the time we don't realize that we are the problem in situ, but don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying study programs are perfect and we are all the problem, oh no, no, I'm just saying that sometimes we are and we don't want to admit it.
    Looking at the program, the first semester should be the better, with pedagogical teachers, I think, because if you have a bad start, it will be more difficult to stand up and learn as you are suppossed to learn. It's normal to these things to happen during first year of college (by what I hearded), first semester you neither didn't learn properly nor got motivated so you screw up everything and leave the career. (sorry if I can't get de right expressions in english). And, if you are wondering, yes I think my first semester wasn't good enough. That's all I know.
    Now I'm kind of tired and stuff, my back is killing me and the headache is becoming stronger so I'm going to finish this right here, See you next time, have a nice day/night and if you are on finals like me, good luck!

Summer PLANS !

  My plans for this summer !
This summer is very special because I'm back to La Serena to spend time with my beloved family and friends. The only problem is how I'll be able to carry all the things I have to my home, but I'll think a solution. I have to haha. Well, going back to the summer plans, I want to do many things, such as read a lot (books & comics), watch movies and series on Netflix, excersice, back to play the guitar in the streets with my friends, put in practice my ear, hang out with 'da squad', definitely improve my english, draw occasionally and don't know, anything that comes to mind.
  I would like to say "this summer I'm going to Spain a week" or something like that, unfortunately I don't have the money or someone who go with me, I truly hope one day finally say "This summer I'm going to -insert place to go- because I want and I can". Of course not alone, I would like to go with my friends and do some "crazinesses". I love to spend time with them, it make me happier than usual.

If you go to "La Serena" this summer (and by summer I mean JAN-FEB) I would like to see you :) !

My future... Job ?

Good morning everyone ! These topics about the future or decisions are dificult to me because I'm very indecisive.
  Well, first of all, I don't know what to do in the future yet... But whatever I do I want it to be related to music. I think, when you meet someone who likes music and loves to play an instrument you don't know him at all until you see his soul while his body express his feelings and his story through the music. Music also can destroy the language barrier and reach everyone no matter where they come from.
  I have the common dream of being a guitar player in a band and have my own studio, record a lot of musicians and help them. But also I want to do everything I can, I want to help people, I want to still alive after death, I want to be reminded, I don't want to be average, don't even good, I want to be the best. And right now I'm not. It's a hard way and a short life, that's why I'm learning from my mistakes and improving my strengths and weaknesses.

  Wherever I stay and whatever I do, in the future I'll be worknig hard to reach every goal I propose.

FREE TOPIC

Hi ! Free topic again! So I have to talk about something I'm interested in.
 Well, I'm totally interested in people's mind :) In how people lives, what they do in certain moments, what they think, how they socialize and survive. I find interesting this, sometimes people do things out of what's normal and everybody going crazy. In the very deep we all wanna do something we don't do just because we are afraid of being different and get signed as a freak or a weirdo, life has taught me thinking like that doesn't worth it, you'll regret what you didn't do rather than what you did. I would have liked to know this before when I was 12, now I know when I can do something I do it, but people usually don't do it, i've seen it in childrens, I've seen it in adults.
 Social networks allowed me to find that there are people FOR EVERYTHING, it's insane ! People really think crazy things and argue for everything. I like to know how people's minds work, the more I know the better.

Something I love.

Allright :D ! First free topic of the semester, as you can see in the title, this time is about something I love.

 Well, I'm gonna talk about my cat Guagui, he was very grumpy, you could touch him but just in the head, any other place it was sure he'll bite you. Once he was very, very sick and with my family carry him to a friend vet, he has to inyect something I can't remember, but Guagui even as weak as a dying person(? cat(? he fought to not be inyected so I had to hold him and when the vet inyected him I recived in my hand the most painful bite in my life, it bleeds for days ! But afortunally he recovered and that's what matters. The sad part is that he died a weeks ago, in October the 2nd, My elder sister said that she watched the exactly moment when he died, then my family buried him. (Yes, we are used to bury our pets in our house in the Valley since years ago) Like I'm in Santiago I couldn't do anything but they sent me a pic of the grave. ( If you don't remember I'm from La Serena )

Best Concert

  Hello again, this week the topic is the best concert I've ever been. If you remember I've said that usually I don't have favorites and this case isn't different, so instead of talking about my best concert I'll talk about the last I've been to.

  Last wednesday my friend and I went to see Foals at Teatro la Cúpula, it felt kind of "unreal", been there listening to them, under the lights, surrounded by a lot of people, it was such a delight ! Everybody was jumping and singing, I ended up all sweated, in a moment I thought that I would probably lose my glasses. But everything worth it  <3 The night was awesome, full of differents feelings, I still can't get out the smiles on my face when I think in the show.

I didn't take any pictures or recorded any video, personally I prefer to enjoy every second, and there are always people that upload videos on youtube.

I just loved being there <3 Foals are a great band and watching 'em live ( yup, this was the first time I've see them live ) made me confirm it. Two Steps, Twice was super ultra fabuloumazing !

Bristol | English 4 !!!

 Welcome back little fellows ! I'm glad to say that I approved English 3 ! So this is my last semester studying english in college. The topic is: A city /country I would like to visit.

 I'm the kind os person that doesn't have favourites usually, music, TVshows, movies, etc. So making these blogs it's kinda difficult to me, because I have to choose between many possibilities. So this time I'll talk about an old city. If there's a city I would like to visit, that would be Bristol, England. I've never went there but I've heard so many things about it(Also, in pictures looks awesome), its weather, its buildings, and its "music activity" ! Man, I would love to go to "The Old Duke", a very famous jazz and blues pub from Bristol. I've heard too that there are regular music/arts in general festivals, and that Bristol has gained a reputation as one of the UK's leading producers of both professional and amateur musical talent.

Personally I just would like to visit it, but who knows, with time life will determine where I truly belong, future is something weird.

There is another reason to go, and it's Skins ! Walk and take pictures to iconic locations of the drama, just thinking it I'm excited ! Skins is one of my favorites TV shows of all time !

My Blogger experience.

Well this is our last blog in class so let's begin.

  Today I'm going to talk about my blogger exprecience. After all this 9 (now 10) blogs I think that I don't have what it takes for been a blogger tbh, especially because I don't know how to express the interesting parts of my life. I'm not saying I didn't like it because it was fun sometimes but I still prefer reading than writting.

  On the other hand, doing blogs in english made me improve my vocabulary and writting, but I still have problems with grammar and pronunciation. I hope fix that because I really would like to learn english.

  Maybe in the future if I got some new ideas or something like that... I could start writting a blog, but I don't see myself doing one blog on my own. I think that to write o good blog you need to have these things:
1) Being someone important, or someone with something important to tell.
2) Have people that share your ideas and that are interested by what you write.

  Personally I'm not much as a writer and a little bit lazy to write once a day/week/month. I enjoyed the activity anyway, and it helps if you aren't used to speaking or writting in english.

TRA-TRA-TRAVELS | BRAZIL STUDY TOUR

He he heeeey !
I would like to talk about my incredibles travels but I don't make one yet ( °n°)
There is always a place that I would like to visit for many reasons, Tokio, Okinawa, Osaka, London, Liverpool, Bristol, New York, California, Ohio, etc etc etc !!!

What I like about travels is that you can see and live thing very differents as usual, and I'm not talking just of the place you go, I'm talking about the travel, the path, route, etc. BUT just if you like the way you are traveling, for example I like to discover many places but sleep in buses... I don't like it. Well, I hope one day save money enough so I can travel to one of those places.

I went to Brazil with many people of my gen by a Study tour a month before being Senior, I wanted to fly but we went on a bus... and I REALLY HATE sleeping in buses because I can't sleep well, find the right position is a pain in the neck !

We passed by Argentina first (but just gas stations) The food was always the same and for a while I really hated french fries, the only thing I rescate is that we seen some movies, definitely the ebst part was came to Brazil, the first hotel was AMAZING ! I finally went to a sauna haha ! I remember that we were on the pool when it's started to rain, the wind, swimming under the rain, omg that was awesome. We had to do many thing and had to go to many places, we went to parties, parks, restaurants, pubs, beaches, etc etc. So at the end of the day we were so tired.

I didn't like have to do things in the morning.

Travel to another country is amazing, make you feel someone new :)
The worst was the time we expend on the bus, hours and hours of nothing.

A Subject I've enjoyed studying this semester

Heey ! Finally the Blog number 8. !

 This time i'm going to talk about the class of  "Teclado Funcional I " I think this is the Subject I prefer, because I always wanted to learn but without an own keyboard piano and without someone to teach me, it wasn't too motivating. Now a friend lent me her keyboard to practice in home but I can't practice a lot bacause of time.

 I think our teacher Patricia is a very good teacher, with a good "lesson plan". I like it because it mixed the theory and practice in every class, I always learn something new or improve my skills at the end of the class, but in every test, I get too nervous and afraid of doing it wrong.

 If I could change something... I wouldn't, because I think it's excelent as it's right now, and the classroom is very comfortable, and if you want to do your own things just put your earphones on and do not disturb anyone. Mmh... You know ? maybe if I could change something I'll change the percentage of attendance jaja !

He-he-he-he-hey ! now I'm going to talk about a carrer-related website...

Well, talking sincerely I don't know much websites related to Sound Engineer yet, and I don't know much Sound Engineers to be honest, so I'm goin' to talk about the master of masters, the champions of champions, Google !

 Why Google ? Simple, because is the best search engine in the world ! also the most popular and the cutest. The classic white and the colors in "Google" are sophisticated. Others search engines are kind of ugly, and sometimes don't find what you're looking for. And don't forget the "celebration logos", they're awesome.

 Everytime I have a question I use Google, it takes you to millions of websites with info, images, videos, etc. For example, when I had to do the presentation of Architectural acoustics on my english class I search for info in Google, I read a lot and watched videos on Youtube.

 I use Google since ever and I can't imagine a world without it ! I always use it for everything, even if are related or not to the carrer.

Well, now I realize that I need to search for more things related to my carrer.

My favorite childhood cartoons ( °u°)

 Heey me again, sorry but I went to my city to share with my family and friends, and of course rest from the University. Now I 'm back in Santiago and ready to do my homework, study, etc.

 Well, I was born in the final road of the 90's, so some people may say "you are not a 90's kid" especially because I don't remember that part of my life, I just know that I have seen a lot of cartoons when I was a little boy with milk teeth, it's hard to decide wich ones were better so I'm not going to talk about all of them.

 I think that I'm not the only one who grew up with "El club de los tigritos" and "Invasión", those programs showed me the wonderful world of asian cartoons, and I think that those were my favorites ! I could make a big list of the series I saw but I don't believe that's the purpose.

 I'm going to talk about "Hajime no Ippo", also known as "Fighting Spirit" in America. I love this anime it's and always be one of my favourites, the first episode is awesome and it catches your attention instantly, and the songs are amazing ! The story of a young lonely boy that doesn't know what to do with his life and meets what makes him feel alive, BOXING.

 It's very exciting, the way a wimpy boy becomes in the bravest fighter, after being saved by Takamura, a strong boxer, from some bad guys, Ippo became interested in boxing and that's the begin of a legend.

 I love this anime because is very motivating, even if you know nothing at begining, with perseverance and talent you can reach your dreams. Dreams, blood, tears and laughter. If you haven't seen it yet, this is the time !

Favorite picture !!!

Ok this time I have to talk about a picture, well, I chose this one:

Why I chose the Glee logo ?

 Just because I LOVE Glee, I've seen it when it started on Fox channel, it just changed my life, since Pilot I fell in love with this, the characters, the songs, all the glee drama in every episode ! GOD This is one of my favorite series of all time, looking this logo I feel good because memories comes inmediatly to my mind, I remember every Tuesday at 10pm each week on Fox, some Saturdays for repeated episodes and when Canal 13 began to transmit Glee on ... Fryday if I'm not wrong, I was very happy !

 Glee is for all of those who once felt inadaptaded, freak, geek, loser. I just love this picture because it represents all the feelings, the moments, the stories, the songs ! I smiled, laughted, cryed and sang all the seasons.

I could talk more and more about Glee, but the time is running and it isn't the topic, the topic is the picture Jaja, so I have to say Goodbye and see you later ! :)

Hear it

Ok I know I've posted recently but this time music is the topic so I couldn't wait :)

 What is music ? This is a question very important to every music lover, because the answer is not always the same. "Music is pleasure" "Music is life" "Music is the Universe" and others cosmic explanations, but not all music is pleasure, life, etc. We are humans, we destroy and create music but what it feels depends on every single person, we can't expect the whole world likes a song, it doesn't mean that a song you don't like is a bad one, some people believe that what they like are "the good music" It's always a discuss, like the metal dude who hates pop or vice versa. It's so hard listen both ? or at least tolerate them.

 The Music is more than a sound, it's a part of our lives, lover or not, music is always present, it turned on a way to express emotions, feelings, histories or just a moment of extasis. In all the centuries of the history the man learned and knew how to create music, to be listened, or just master pieces lost in time for never been shown to the world. People identify with what they hear, or just feel a lot of beauty pleasure going through hearing. Whatever, music is precious, unic, and one of the best things the man ever met.

I love music with my life, there's no way that I could get away from this wonderful world, even if I die I will follow the path of the cosmic vibrations.

My favorite piece of Technology

Hey everyone, this time I have to talk about my favorite piece of technology, so if you're reading this... Congratulation ! Say thanks to technology because ir could'nt be possible without the science advances and the hard work of a lot of brilliant people. WHAT ? did you think that out Tv's, houses, smartphones, games, computers, etc. were made by a robot ? Even if it is who do you think who made the robot ? The science man ! The humans !

Ok, after all that kind of weird presentation, I'll say that there are too many things that I could talk about, it's hard to choose only and only one and talk about all of that is hard too, so now I'm going to talk a little 'bout the glasses.

 The glasses are awesome ! They can bring the chance of seeing rigth again to people who born with genetic problems in the eyes, or had a waste of vision. I can see clearly because of my glasses, and I'm too grateful for it, also as a plus, glasses cover your eye bags xD, I practically use them always with little exceptions, after all if I don't wear my glasses all becomes a big blur.

Why do I choose Sound Engineering ?

 Hey long time no see, sorry but I am too busy with University and personal stuff so there's a little time to the blog sessions. Well, This time I'm going to talk about the reason why I chose this carrer, it wasn't easy for many reasons, but hey ! Here I am and even when it's hard I'm happy because in this weeks I learnt many things about the music, the sound, and myself.

 When I was a child I dreamed being a comic/manga artis, I liked draw so much, now it's only a little hobbie, nowadays I don't draw so much mostly because I don't have the time to do it, but I really, really, like drawings. 

 Later in school -I don't remember the grade- I learnt to play the guitar and music comes and never left, I have so many memories with each song I've heard, every note I played, every night trying to learn a song. Trust me, music is fricking wonderful ! It's a soul meeting between the artist and the listener.

 When I came to last year in school, I had the idea of study music, well, for years it was an idea but every time I propouse it to my parents and teachers they said sorry, that it's just a hobbie and I have good "science" habilities to waste 'em, even if they were right, it hurted me. 

 After all the drama, I decided to study Sound Engineering because it's a carrer where I can learn too much of a lot of things, and every time like it more. Basically I entered the carrer for the knowledge than the title of engineer. But not everything went pink after I decided it, there was a BIG problem, it doesn't was on my city and unfortunately we are not rich, first they gave me a big "NO", and I understood, but after seeing that there was the only carrer I wanted, my parents told me they're going to try to make it possible.

 My parents are with so many debts, and when I did PSU I put just one and only one option, and that's right, the Sound Engineering here in Universidad de Chile. But I didn't get an scholarship, seems like to the Government we can pay everything, it made me doubt if came or not to Santiago, but my parents supported me and said that there is where I have to go. 

 And that's why I'm here right now, and even if it comes harder and harder, I won't give up.

My own Autobiography of myself

Hello guys, on this post I'm going to write somethings about my life, hope you like  (~º-º)~ 

 Everything started when I was born on June 26th 1997 in La Serena and my parents named me "Esteban Daniel Espinoza Darrigrande". All my life I went to only one school, Colegio Andrés Bello La Serena, there I made my friends, my second family. This year I'm going to Universidad de Chile in Santiago, to study Sound Engineering.

 When I was in La Serena I lived with my parents (Elias and Paulina) and my sister (Pamela) who is finishing her studies of Architecture in ULS (Universidad de La Serena). When I came to Santiago I knew it wouldn't be easy, live without your parents makes you work the double, I mean, you know that food doesn't simply appear by magic, things doesn't clean themselves and money doesn't grow on trees, well, all of that comes more real than ever.

 I do not remember so much things about me that deserves to be written... I like tcg, since I was a kid I have played a lot of cards games, i'd like keep playing but it needs so much money and of course I like to play music, it's one of those things that gets sweeter with time. 

 It's a little hard to talk about myself tbh, perhaps I can say a few more things new time.
